Day 10: The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Today's card is a shaker card and it was done at 10pm in the evening.. it's like a last minute almost did not make it to the challenge thing.

i used copic markers to color the leaves and flowers here. they are stamped in a solar white classic crest neenah card stock. for the flower i have colored the bigger base one in different shades of yellow. at first it was too yellow for me so i added copic Y26 on top of it and it made me happier

it was late when i made it (for me 10pm is late haha).. i almost did not want to do one today, but i said to myself that i made a promise to myself to finish this challenge with one entry a day so we will see if i can still keep up with it. life is getting busier these days

Day 8: The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Today is another happy coloring day for me... this is my card

I used a stencil that i bought from Dollarama way back maybe 2012 and colored the image using my Prisma Color Pencils.
Here's the photo with the stencil still on top of my paper.. this stencil is perfect for coloring cause it has a bit of adhesive at the back of it. it's just tacky and it wont really stick to the paper and ruin it once removed.

this is the photo when the stencil was removed.. it brings joy when u remove the stencil and the paper come out clean .. and coloring is nice too

this is the stencil and the prisma color pencils i used

Day 7: The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge

today is one of those days where I am proud of the card that i have created

i admit that i was hesitant of what to color the cats, but i just go with what i think will work and it did. sometimes you don't need to over think and everything will turn out ok. not to mention the image is too small that you barely can go away with any color that you will put into it.

i used copic ciao and copic markers to color my image. i also used martha stewart punch all over the page for my background paper.

The copic markers i used for the leaves are YG03, YG63 and YG67
While for the flowers i used copics in colors R20, R22, R24, R27 and R29

Day 3: The Daily Marker Color Challenge

Day 2: The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge

For my second day I decided to color a die cut of a princess.. well for me she looks like a princess.

I was having second thought if i will make it into a card or incorporate it into an album, and i have not decided yet so this will be my post for today.. just the coloring with no finish project to incorporate it too.

i used Neenah solar white 110lb cardstock to cut the die and color it using copic markers.

i also used stella wink glitter pen to highlight the swirls and butterflies in her gown. i also used it on her gloves. it's hard to capture the sparkle in her photo but hopefully this photo shows some of it.

Here are the supplies i used:
for the skin i used copic E000 and E00
for the gown i used copic R22, R24 and $29

Day 1: The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge

I have decided to join Kathy's 30 day coloring challenge. And today is the first Day of the challenge.

This is the second time that I am joining something like this. The difference is that this is daily (though we are not forced to do daily post or coloring) and knowing myself i think i will be completing all days of coloring.

I think this will be fun.

For my first day, i decided to color a die cut for my scrapbook page layout.

these photos were taken from Catalonia Hotel in Sto Domingo, Dominican Republic on our vacation last year in September. serves as a reminder as well of how far behind i am in scrapbooking :)

the size of this layout is 8x8.. and it is the left side of my double page spread.

Here are the products i used to make this colored embellishment:

Sizzix framelits with stamps by Jen Long Called: Love You
The flourish behind the stamp is Heart Flourish by Impression Obsession
And the copic ciao and markers I used are: Y38, YR15, R22, R24, R27, R85, YG25 and YG67
