My 2011 Teresa Collins "Noel" December Daily

this is my first december daily and it is so fun to make it.

what i want on this album is to have a spot for photos and journaling on each day of december from 1st to 25th.

I used teresa collins noel collection and some other matching papers for the journaling and other photo mattes

i used different martha stewart and fiskars punch on the pages

recycling a photo album refill/pages to make a mini album

I have found an album at a thrift store and thought of using it in a different way than it was supposed to. i used the refill of the album to match the mini folder binding that i was making. it serves as the base of my mini album pages/lay outs

what i did:

- i cut the refill to 7 1/2 x 5 1/4 (1 refill makes two of this)
- using my tim holtz binder ring (large size) i marked where the holes are to be punched
- then i punched two holes using my cropadile and i punched it 1/4 inch away from the edge of the page

i then i make the layouts for the pages. it was a bit challenging to make a layout cause it is small in size but it turned out so cute. below is a sample of one of the layouts i made

prima flowers and bling
stamp for letters are from michaels $1 bin
recollection cardstocks for the mattes and other decorative strips
1/2 circle punch by stampin up
3/4 square punch by ek success
label punch by stampin up

window envelope pages for a swap hosted by tracy

i enjoyed doing this envelope pages and what a fun way to use all my scraps for this.

this envelope was brilliantly thought of by tracy at tracystreasures24 on youtube...it was such a big hit and a big idea that she turned it into a swap.

this is my card for my friend elisa who hosted a swap that i joined in.

i used magnolia stamp on the image and made paper piece on her dress. i used ek success scallop punch and tim holtz embossing folder as well.

mini baroque page using curtain call papers

this is for a swap at life on the scrap beach hosted by elisa.

we are to use baroque die and any paper from the curtain call collection. we also are asked to incorporate lace, pearls and blings on the pages.

this is the mini album that i have made for a swap hosted by cynthialoowho at alilscrapofheaven.ning.com

i used prima papers on most of the mini but i also did use some other dp that will coordinate with the color of the mini. embellishments are from prima lines, tim holtz and i am roses. tags i used are from prima paper line.

binding is inspired by laura denison of follow the paper trail. i also incorporate a paper bag on one page inspired by kathy orta of paper phenomenon.

house warming invitation card

this invitation was made with the help of my daughter for our house warming to be held on may 7th. she did the cutting of paper, embossing and attaching of flowers. i want her to know the fun of making cards and she enjoyed it.

i made this invitation card using cardstocks that i bought from dollar store (not acid free) as i know most of the people i will send it to will just put it in the trash later. the flowers are from prima and the stamped image is from the $1 bin (i am not sure if it is, but it is a very small stamp)from michaels
