i tried to alternate my days in making mini albums scrapbook layouts, 12x12 layouts, and card making.
this makes my hobby more interesting ... cause sometimes if i do the same over and over, it's either i get bored or lose my creativity mode.
Here are some of the cards I made...
i used an Aliexpress cutting die to make this shaker card..
for this other card, i again used an Aliexpress die to cut the platform where my The Greeting Farm girl stamp will sit. i used some cardstock from Michaels and loved how the color coordinates. i also added sparkle on her using some wink of stella glitter pen

Celebrate Card
Today i have used the remaining paper that i distressed ... half of it was used in my previous card and this time the other one is used here.
I also used an Avery Elle Stamp in here. The stamp is called "Sentimental"
I also added the embossed dotted line using Lawn Fawn's Stitched Border, and the edge was cut using an AliExpress Die.
The distress inks I used here are Spiced Marmalade and Fired Brick
Here's the photo of the products i have used.

Wedding Card Using Aliexpress Cutting Die
I have been into making cards this past few days.
This one is made using Aliexpress die, distress inks and black and white cardstocks. I colored the image/die cut with wink of stella to add some sparkle to it (the photo does not give justice to how sparkly it is).
For the background distress color, I used Tim Holtz Ranger distress inks. Colors i used here are mix of Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade and Spun Sugar. I then back it with white cardstock and attached it to a black cardstock base. There is no dimension added to this card, so it will be very easy to mail this out without worry of added postage fee.
There's no one that I know of who is getting married in the near future. i am not worried that this could be wasted cause that's one good thing about cards. it does not go out of fashion. i can use it to gift to someone anytime and there's no expiry date attached to it.

Using my Aliexpress Stamps and Cutting Dies
i am now living in the middle east and it is almost impossible for me to get the dies sold in the US. Usually they dont
ship here and if they do, they will cost me so much. so during these past few months i have been buying stamps and dies
from Aliexpress. it can be addictive cause it is very cheap. i must admit that i have spent a lot of money in here.
not to mention, you need patience in waiting for the dies to arrive. sometimes, seller will ship it at different times
(some have 2 or more warehouses where the dies are mailed out).
to lessen my guilt and hoarding dilemma, i decided to make use of them starting today.
i have made a card, and this time i was so inlove with it that i made a replica for my daughter's mini album.
this is one best way to get the most out of your creativity. also, a memento of the card you make. once you give your card away, you wont totally forget about it cause it is still in your keepsakes.
